Sexually Transmitted Cancer
TVT is a treatable by a series of IV injections with Oncovin. This is a series of 4 to 6 treatments at $35.00 per intravenous injection. The majority of these cases are in the breeding population. Again the answer here is spay and neuter. Most of these cases are picked up when the owner’s see the growths and come in for help with treating the problem or discovered at a spay and neuter clinic. The indigent dog fund run by Janice handles most of the expenses associated with the treatment of these dogs (and she’s fast running out of money!!).
